**Club Schedule Change for 2026 **
Starting in January 2026, the club will only have one meeting per month in the library. This will generally be the 1st Monday of the month. If a holiday falls on the 1st Monday (Labor Day for example), the library will be closed, and we’ll move our meeting to the 2nd Monday of the month. The 3rd Monday of the month will be focused on outings when the weather permits.
**Dec 15th Meeting**
On Monday, Dec 15th, we’ll be in the library. This is our annual planning meeting where we’ll be electing officers and coming up with a calendar of events for 2026. If you have any specific topics you would like us to cover in the near future, Monday evening is your time to speak up.
*12/1/25 Christmas Dinner*
On Monday evening, we won’t be at the library. We’ll be having our annual Christmas get-together at Marzoni’s in Duncansville. Official start time is 6pm.
**11/17 Meeting**
On Monday evening, we’ll be in the library. We’ll be showing the photos that the members took of all the stuffed animals that were brought in by the children that attend Story Time at the library. The meeting starts at 6:30pm.
**Oct 6th Outing **
Next Club Meeting is Oct. 6 at 6:00 PM . It will be a club outing!
The library meeting room will not be available as the library is preparing for their Fall Used Book Sale. Lucky for us, Oct. 6 is the Harvest Super Moon! So we decided on an outing to see if we can capture it at its rising. We will be meeting at Ft. Roberdeau to do sunset, moon rising and maybe even capturing some stars. We will meet at6:00 PM, but you might want to come earlier… sunset is at 6:47 PM and moonrise is a bit after 6 PM.

**Sept 22nd Meeting**
Next Club Meeting is Sept. 22nd we are planning on doing a photo shoot for the library as kids bring their stuffed animals for a library sleepover. We will need lots of photographers to help with this! So, bring your cameras of choice (cell phones are fine too).
The kids from the library story time will be dropping off their favorite stuffed friends to learn what goes on after the library is closed. The kids will then return the next day to take their stuffed friends home. Janet will be making little books for the kids with stories and pictures of their friend’s adventures. The meeting will start at 6:30 PM but come early if you can since we must be out of the library by 8 pm.
Each club member will be assigned an animal (or two) to document the animals’ adventures. We are asking for photos by Friday, so that Janet can get the books together for next week’s story time.
You are welcome to bring props (or your own stuffed animal friend) as well.
**Sept 8th Meeting**

It will be in the library’s community meeting room. Details on what will be discussed will be sent out later. BUT it is also the projected image competition turn-in night.
**July 7th Picnic**
OUR NEXT MEETING: Monday, July 7th at 6:30 PM will be our annual club picnic at the picnic pavilion at the Lemon House in Cresson. Bring your own dinner, and feel free to bring a side or dessert to share. FYI: alcohol is not permitted in national state parks.
Bring your spouse/family/etc… This will be a nice casual way to get to know each other better. Bring your camera too, the Lemon house is nicely situated at the entrance to the picnic area, and sunsets are nice up there.
We’ll give everyone some time to eat and chat, then Sally and the Competition Committee will give their presentation.
New members are strongly encouraged to attend; this is a great casual evening to get to know each other better as well.
The picnic area is accessed off old Rt 22, not the highway exit for the Gallitzan/Allegheny Portage Railroad. Here is a Google Maps link to the area: Google Maps – Directions, trip planning, traffic cameras & more
