Our first meeting in 2023 will be on January 9th in the Hollidaysburg library. The meeting starts at 6:30pm. Members will be sharing some of their favorite images that they shot during 2022.

3/21/2022 Meeting
We’ll be in the Hollidaysburg library on Monday, the 21st. Brandon Hirt will be teaching us about HDR Photography. The meeting kicks off at 6:30pm.
Bedford Prison Photoshoot Postponed
Due to the impending snowstorm, our club’s photoshoot (originally scheduled for 3/12/22) at the old Bedford prison has been postponed until a later date.
Feb 28th Meeting
The library will be closed on the 21st, so our meeting is moved to the 28th. Eric will be showing photos from some of the National Parks that he photographed this past year. The meeting starts at 6:30pm at the Hollidaysburg Library.
Sept 20th Meeting
For the Sept 20th meeting, we’ll be in the Hollidaysburg library. We’ll be learning about editing photos with Lightroom, Photoshop, and possibly some other programs. The meeting starts at 6:30pm.
** August 16th Meeting **
On Monday, August 16th, we’ll be meeting at the Hollidaysburg Library at 6:30pm. This will be our new start time for library meetings since we have to be out of there at 8pm.
Dave Hammaker will be giving a presentation entitled “Revisiting Favorite Places with New Techniques.” He will be sharing many of his photos from Utah, Nevada, Arizona, etc. He will also share a brief overview of the technique of Gold Leaf printing.
*** Sept 14th Outing ***
Though we can’t hold indoor meetings, the photo club is continuing to meet through socially-distanced outdoor photo shoots. Monday’s outing will be a photo-walk through downtown Huntingdon. We’ll meet at 6:30pm at the parking lot on the corner of 8th St. and Penn St.
May 4th Meeting Canceled
Since the Pennsylvania lockdown is still in effect, our May 4th meeting is canceled. We will keep monitoring the situation before we make a decision on the May 18th meeting.
Meetings Canceled for a While Due to COVID 19 Restrictions
Today, the Governor announced that things will stay shut down in PA indefinitely. So there will be no meeting on April 6th. Our annual awards banquet is scheduled for April 20th. We’ll see how things progress before making the official call on that get together.
